Advancing Reiki consciousness

During this changing economy, Reiki is an asset in awakening one's ability to reach beyond the physical aspects and
stresses of daily life. When we deepen the connection within, we open ourselves up to living in the present and learn to
understand the power of seeing life through new perspectives.  Channeling life-force energy develops new awareness,
information and concepts on living in harmony and peace during fast-paced changing times.

Reiki is a tool for self-mastery with a core based on universal energy that has recently been popularized to the masses. Since
these spiritual tools have been released to the world, we have all been given the opportunity to choose how to integrate and
evolve on every level.

Reiki is an all inclusive ray of healing that increases the awareness of the life force in every living thing. Advancing within
Reiki is a tool of attainment and is taught in levels, which allows one to raise their own vibration naturally.

In its original teachings, the levels represented markers on the evolutionary scale.  After attaining self-mastery within one
level, the student waited for the master to tell him when it was time to move on.  Society today has developed new standards
of self-mastery that allows one the freedom to know when it is time to take the next step.

The practice of Reiki is a path to the true nature of unity, based on the relationship we have with the one source of all energy.
Reiki is not a religion but is based upon universal principles, allowing one to use it as a portal for developing a heightened
sense of intuition, while becoming attuned to its healing effects.

Beginning at the first level, one experiences elevated awareness through the initiation into an ancient body of knowledge.
Reiki then becomes the foundation on which we stand.  Through Reiki there comes an alliance with a hierarchy of beings who
offer unconditional love and guidance, while increasing healing capabilities.

Attuning oneself to life-force energy gives one true freedom---knowing that all beings are born equally----thus advancing the
consciousness of Reiki through the spirit that unites all life.

Reiki drumming

Reiki is a simple, natural and powerful hands-on-healing modality that uses life force energy.  Reiki acts as a
portal into elevating awareness. It draws attention to the life force in all living things.

A symbol-based technnizue, Reiki is passed from teacher to student through a ceremonial initiation. Universal
energy connects all of life-animate and inanimate-with a focused intention, and this energy transcends time and
space.

The circular form for the drum symbolizes Mother Earth, as Earth holds the key to a deeper purpose of being.
Drums  are  part of nature, and they create rhythm and vibration to support healing.  Instruments are extensions
of power and
uniquely enhance energies according to their tones.

Hand drums can detect glitches in the body's energy field, giving voice to the mental and emotional stresses of
daily living.  As Reiki's passive energy unites with the rhythm of the drum, we have an opportunity for spontaneous
healing and  transformation.  Working in tandem with your Reiki drum creates synergy for restoring the natural
rhythm of body, mind, spirit and emotion.

Drumming and Reiki have been recently popularized and are being used worldwide in all walks of life.  Drums
are a positive and empowering tool of connection, healing, celebration and expression.  As we gather
the forces of heaven and Earth, we affirm the principle "as above, so below."

There are many reports about the positive effects of a drum attuned to Reik.  As we unite Reiki with
drumming, a sense of unity springs forth, a spiritual oneness, which allows us to recognize our unique path,
and gives us the power  to remember who we truly are.

Reiki for kids

Reiki is a Japanese word that translates to universal life force. A hands-on-healing modality, Reiki has received
recognition from medical practitioners, such as Dr. Mehmet Oz and Dr. Andrew Weil, and is practiced globally.

Holistic medicine helps integrate body, mind, spirit and emotion--the key to balanced healing.  Self-esteem is a
component  in the development of a child.  Reiki confirms the connection to a universal power by giving kids the
confidence, faith and belief in what lies within.  A healthy foundation, based on a universal source, encourages risk
-taking to manifest dreams.

Development of self-esteem is borne out of knowing that we are not just a personality; we are spiritual in nature.
There is  no age limit on the desire to feel good about ourselves and how to share the gifts we have in the
life we create.

Reiki increases the amount of energy we channel and is noninvasive and gentle, like a mother's touch.  It acts as a
portal into the heart, deepening the connection to universal power.  Reiki instills the feeling of a loving presence in
and around the body, providing a safety net during fast-paced, changing times.

Guiding a child is being open to all possibilities, while providing a secure environment in which to grow.  Because
children are affected by the world around them, Reiki provides an inner sanctuary in which to surrender emotions
that may arise from the pressures of society.

Connecting to a greater purpose of being through spiritual unity allows deeper understanding and compassion
to develop early in life.  Reiki is a simple, positive and supportive influence for any age.

Through a simple attunement process, a child can develop a greater sense of confidence and trust, while having
a resource of energy in which to continually self-heal and alleviate the fear of separateness.

Developing telepathy with pets

The relationship connection between a human and pet is unique, and based upon the individual’s belief about life and
living. As we evolve to a deeper understanding that all life is interconnected we dissolve old conditioning, replacing it
with new qualities based upon partnership and leadership.

The animal kingdom provides portals for growth through the emotional bonds created with pets. Empathy verifies
this connection, as it is the ability to identify and understand feelings. We emanate feelings to one another whether
conscious or unconscious. Animals mirror emotions within us, and are key to personal growth and healing.
Pets offer us the  opportunity  to be authentic in how we communicate what we want from them, thus developing
trust in working  in unison.

Telepathy is a universal language, an unseen force, where we project thoughts, feelings and intentions into the
universal  web of life. It is communication without speech, the sensing and reading life through feelings, intuition and
body language. Without speaking a word, we have the power to communicate a feeling or express thoughts and
emotions through facial expressions, or a physical gesture.

The atmosphere of a place determines whether or not we want to enter it as we are always assessing the environment.
The circle of life is determined by the prey running in fear of the predator that finds them through sensory perception.

The key to harnessing the power of non-verbal communication is the practice of becoming pro-active rather than
re-active. We don’t want to use pets as a sound board to release the daily stresses of living, as animals react to
thoughts, emotions and intentions set forth by the owner. Through breathing we can empty emotions to create
success  in achieving a desired result.

Focused intention, patience and consistency can teach any animal to respond to non-verbal commands. The same is
true  when working to achieve a mental and emotional connection with an animal.  Good leadership comes from
understanding and being present with your animal friend, letting go of the past in each step you take forward.

Increasing telepathy is done through the translation of body language, intentions, and focused awareness. Animals see
things in pictures; transmitting visualization to a pet is a key tool used in telepathic communication.

When recognizing what you are transmitting is affecting your pet, is the moment you realize the power we share is
universal in nature. Repetition, consistency and patience create the confidence needed to succeed in developing a
bond that goes beyond time and space, through the unseen force that unifies all life.

The evolution of Reiki

Reiki is a simple hands-on-healing technique that is as gentle and loving as a mother's touch. It was rediscover in the
early 1900's by a Japanese man, Mikao Usui, and brought to America by Hawaya Takata, a Japanese-American who
traveled from Hawaii to Japan for healing.

After experiencing the profound effects of Reiki, Takata asked to be initiated into the Usui method of natural healing.
She returned to her home in Hawaii and attuned 22 Reiki masters before her passing in 1980.  We are deeply grateful
to her for the gift, as Reiki is now available globally.

A symbol-based modality, Reiki is passed from teacher to student through an attunement or initiation.  This enables
the practitioner to channel greater amounts of life-force energy, and form a partnership with the healing universe.

Reiki has evolved from its early beginnings and has quickly become a household name.  It is based upon simple a
nd timeless principles to live by.  These include:

*Do not worry: be filled with gratitude.
*Just for today, do not be quick to anger.
*Devote yourself to your work and be kind to people.
*Every day join your hands in prayer.
*Reiki is for the improvement of body and mind.

Anyone with the desire may practice Reiki.  Hospitals now recognize the benefits of healing touch, and offer it to
patients and nurses.  Reiki has evolved due to millions of global practitioners who use it as a resource to heal
themselves,  the community and the world.

The practice of Reiki elevates us to the awareness that we are all made of love and it is love that unites us.  Utilizing
this life-force energy awakens the souls to living extraordinary lives.

Awakening the shaman within

Shamanism is a vast body of knowledge that indigenous cultures accept as a natural source of healing.  It has grown in
popularity, as it possesses tools that accelerate, activate and empower the soul's journey.  The shaman tools fit into daily
life as easily as meditation practice.

The dictionary defines a shaman as a spiritual leader who is believed to have special powers, such as prophecy and the
ability to heal.  All beings possess that power, as we each create the life we live.  The teaching is based upon the
knowledge that all life is interconnected, as we are one spirit, scattered into many bodies.

Shamanism is based on the concept of a physical and nonphysical universe that can be accessed from a conscious state,
through a portal or doorway.  While there, the shaman meets with compassionate beings who reside in the nonphysical
universe to heal themselves, the community and the world.

Many cultures refer to this realm as the dreamtime, as sleeping and dreaming is one way to enter the realm of spirit.
People who daydream slip into trance states.  Albert Einstein claimed that day-dreaming may have been his secret to
creativity and maintained that his visualizations of sunbeams led him to his discoveries.  What is great is that everyone
has the ability to attain such altered states of awareness.

Modern shamans use frame drums as a tool for achieving trance states.  Intention and practice are key ingredients in
reaching and maintaining a focused state of awareness.  The dream state is based in metaphors and symbols; it is
up to you to decide the meaning of a dream or a journey.   Self-discovery is about having faith and trust in the
interpretation of these journeys, which are different for everyone.

Shamans use this technique over time, deepening and developing their relationships, while fostering the ability to
intuit and translate information into a usable formula for daily living.

Star light healing

White Eagle is a Native American ascended master who uses symbols for healing, attunement and transcendence.  For
centuries, symbols have been used as portals to empower and enlighten mankind.  All symbols have characteristics
imbued within the framework, giving each one a different  expression.

At one time in evolution, we became separated from the power that created us. Symbols were used to assist mankind in
reconnecting to the essence and truth of existence.

Symbols are living, multi-dimensional tools that we can attune to both physically and spiritually.  The star light symbol is
ancient and has been adopted by many religions and healing modalities.  It represents heaven on Earth and assists one
as a symbol of unity and creation. The two triangles symbolize the idea "as above, so as below," signifying perfect balance.

Star light is how white Eagle refers to the symbol, as it is a source of light, power and love, and may be used infinitely and
unconditionally for oneself, the community and the world.

Sacred geometry symbols are used to activate power and increase the awareness that we are made of light and vibration.
The criteria to attune to this symbol are visualizing the symbol within the heart and above the head, as a source of power,
strength, love and creativity.

Through ancient symbolism, we are able to cultivate love, a key component in living an integrated unified life, working in
harmony and bringing heaven to earth.

Communicating with telepathy
by Josephine M. Joseph

Aznetnews  December/January  2010

All beings possess the power of telepathy and most of us have experienced it at one time or another.

How many times, for example, have you known who was calling before answering the phone or had the urge to contact
someone, only to find out they were thinking of you?  Or perhaps someone asked you a question and before you could
respond, they picked up the thought and spoke your answer, both parties laughing at the "mindreading".

The reason behind such nonverbal communication is that there is a universal web of love that binds us.  We are one spirit
scattered into many bodies which form this interconnected, invisible web.  We are living in a time of relationships, and new
opportunities for transcendence are opening up that enable  us to release the illusion of being separate.

As infants, we convey our needs through body language and feelings.  As we grow up, we learn to express our thoughts
through written and verbal communication.  We then reply upon theses skills to communicate.  When we choose to,
however, we can reactivate the power of nonverbal communication through practice and intention.

Intention and focus are the keys to communicating without words.  You can transcend the barriers of communication with
visualization.  If someone asks where you want to eat, try pausing and, in your mind, think about what you want. Wait before
answering, so that your thought is transferred to the other person, and you will often find that they speak your
thought out loud.  It is that easy.

Here's another exercise to try.  Pick someone you trust to work with and choose a time to connect from a distance.
One person acts as the giver and the other as the receiver.  Keep an open, relaxed mind and at the appointed time, send a
message to the receiver.  With faith, the receiver writes down all thoughts, visualizations and feelings that come through.
You both will likely be surprised at the accuracy of communication that occurs.

We can use this method to manifest for ourselves, as well, by focusing upon our desire while visualizing the outcome.  The
thought goes out into the universe and comes back to us in form.  Indeed, telepathy is how prayers are answered.

When we trust the voice within and communicate with love, all things are possible.  Knowledge through experience is
evolution.
